SCENTED CANDLE KSAR EL GLAOUI
El Glaoui refers to the lord of Talhou, chief of the Glaoua tribe. The ceramics, handmade by our craftsmen, are sculpted with geometric motifs reminiscent of the fortification walls of the ksars. A two-tone glaze required the skill of our ceramists to highlight the relief, with a natural, glossy color on the outside and a plum, matte color on the inside.
HIBISCUS * TEA * RED FRUITS
A floral fragrance of hibiscus, tea and red fruits will transport you to the charm of Moroccan ksars.

KNOW HOW
Our ceramic candle collections are a reminder of a noble material from the earth, the one we knead, mold and glaze. All our ceramics are handmade in Portugal. A mold is first developed and reproduced in all our sizes. The material is poured into it and then dried and hardened. After a few days, the object is taken out of the mold and plunged into the glaze to cover it with color. This is when the final transformation takes place: the piece is fired at very high temperatures in a kiln. The magic of the material and the work of craftsmen who practice the same gestures from generation to generation.
An aromatic scent of bergamot, absinthe and patchouli recalls the vibrant notes of the wadis at the foot of the Atlas Mountains.
★★★★★
The quality of our scented candles involves a specific burning ritual. Each time the candle is burnt, it is important to wait until the entire surface liquefies before extinguishing the candle. This will prevent the formation of craters which are unattractive and make burning more difficult. The first time you light your candle, it will always burn for longer than on subsequent occasions. Allow time for the first layer of wax to liquefy completely. The length of time this takes varies depending on the size of the candle.
Never burn the last 1cm (1/2 inch) of wax to avoid flames burning against the glass.
Each object is unique and takes you into an olfactory universe paying tribute to the imprint of the world's cultures.
